An Independent Contractor Agreement is used when one wants to hire a person or an entity to provide a specific kind of service. The person so hired will be an independent contractor provided he fulfils various requirements under law, including that he or she:
(a) must provide a fee quote for the work;
(b) provide similar services to other clients or customers;
(c) must have his own ABN; and
(d) must provide invoices for his work.
